Come join us at Sonoma Garden Park for our Summer Speaker Series — a series of helpful, informative and fun lectures and workshops presented by Sonoma County’s gardening experts.
In this workshop, “Irrigation for the Home Landscape,” master gardener and landscaper Seth Dolinsky discusses the basics of irrigating your home in a water-efficient yet effective manner. The workshop will feature an introduction to the basic systems and distribution methods for home irrigation, with a focus on low water/high efficiency systems designed to work within an overall framework of regenerative landscape management.
Learn how to connect to an existing supply, how to control distribution with various timers and systems, how to calculate pressure and volume, and basic installation techniques and tricks for various types of emitters, driplines, sprayheads and more.
Seth Dolinsky is a master gardener with a background in environmental conservation and restoration. He has worked in agriculture, horticulture, landscaping and land management for over 20 years. He is the owner of New Land Systems (, a regenerative land management company utilizing ecological principles in developing edible landscapes, insectary and habitat gardens, low-water and native plantings, and soil building and rain catchments.
